Data - What Data?
15-Jun-2008A comprehensive set of Australian historical financial data is available from the RBA Bulletins and website as follows:

All tables are available from the RBA website www.rba.gov.au in Excel spreadsheet form except for the share index data table F7, which only displays a more recent series of dates and in PDF form only. However the information for earlier dates should be available from the hard-copy paper editions.
Note that the RBA has advised that the ASX discontinued its P/E ratio and dividend yield series. The new sources of this data in table F7 are from MSCI and Thomson Financial.
